My research interests focus on the mosquito behavioural ecology. My current projects focus especially on the modifications of host-seeking behaviour induced by chemicals usually used in public health programs. I initiated the BeIn program (Behaviour & Insecticide) with the aim to decipher the behavioural modulation by exposure to insecticides in the malaria vector populations in relation with insecticide resistance mechanisms and Plasmodium falciparum infection.

I am also involved in the WHO collaborating centre for the evaluation of pesticides for public health. I am coordinating the ABC network (Anopheles, Biology & Control) which brings together scientists from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, France and Togo, working in endemic areas that radically differ in their malaria epidemiological and entomological patterns with the objective to evaluate new insecticide products for public health. The network also offers opportunities to conduct research of vector biology.
